Mr.
Weintraub is a landmark attorney in McLean County, concentrating his
practice in the areas of Family Law and Real Estate. In a March, 1997
survey conducted by Business to Business magazine of over fifty McLean
County law firms, Mr. Weintraub was selected by his peers as one of
the top three “Legal Aces” and was featured on the magazine’s cover.
In the article, he noted:
"My part in developing this law firm will be my legacy. In our choice
of attorneys, we have had the luxury of being selective. I’m very
proud of the firm."
In 2003 and 2004, Mr. Weintraub was named among the top
16% of lawyers practicing Family Law in the State of Illinois by the
Leading Lawyers Network as the result of a statewide poll of
attorneys.
Drawing on his vast experience,
Mr. Weintraub served as Associate Professor of Family Law and Real
Estate Law at Illinois State University from 1978 to 1998. He has
been an Instructor of Family Law for the Illinois State Bar
Association, Family Law Section and a speaker with the Illinois
State Bar Association, Family Law Update. His name is associated
with numerous published appellate court decisions.
Mr. Weintraub was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1947. He received
his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois in 1968. In
1972 Mr. Weintraub received his J.D. from the University of Illinois
School of Law and was admitted to the Illinois Bar and U.S. Court of
Appeals, Seventh Circuit, Illinois. Mr. Weintraub is a member of the
McLean County, Illinois State, and American Bar Associations.
